Hi, I’m Magda

In 1993 after completing my Bachelor of Science in nursing from McGill University I stepped into the world of perinatal care at the McGill University Hospital Centre in Woman’s Health and have never looked back.
Over the last 30 years I have experienced the immense privilege and pleasure of helping couples with the transition into the wonder of parenthood as a labour and delivery nurse. These experiences gave me much insight about the effect of hospital delivery routines on the breastfeeding relationship. In 2018 I became an IBCLC shifting my focus, both in the hospital and privately, to help parents discover their strengths and feel more empowered and confident in the choices they make around the feeding relationships with their baby (ies).
I continue to work in the hospital and privately, am involved with Nourrisource Montreal and attend professional conferences and seminars to stay informed about how best to help families during this vulnerable and powerful moment in families’ lives
